From the grading system of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, it's evident that Blue Mountain coffee has very high requirements for defect percentages. In all coffee called Blue Mountain coffee, defects cannot exceed 2%. Additionally, since all are from the legally designated region, grades are distinguished only by size.
