Guatemala Coffee

Bordered by Mexico to the north, Honduras and El Salvador to the south, the Caribbean Sea to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west, Guatemala boasts exceptional natural advantages. With tropical rainforests, volcanoes, fertile soil, and diverse climates, it provides the ideal environment for coffee cultivation. The mountainous terrain, with an average elevation exceeding 1,500 meters, allows Guatemala to easily produce extremely hard coffee beans. The coffee beans are clean and lively, with a perfect balance of richness, acidity, and sweetness, complemented by a subtle smoky note that enhances their depth and mystery. Located at 14°38' north latitude, within the coffee belt between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, this region represents optimal latitude for coffee production. Coffee serves as an important economic crop locally.

The eight regions are: Antigua Classic, Huehuetenango, Rainforest Coban, Traditional Atitlan, Fraijanes Plateau, Volcanic San Marcos, Acatenango, and New Oriente.
