FrontStreet Coffee - Blue Mountain Coffee Brewing Guide
Many coffee lovers have heard of Blue Mountain coffee, a renowned coffee variety worldwide. However, many coffee enthusiasts don't know how to brew coffee, especially Blue Mountain coffee. Many customers who purchase Blue Mountain coffee find that no matter how they brew it, it doesn't taste good and is completely different from what they expected.
Blue Mountain coffee is a single-origin coffee. Therefore, only pour-over brewing can maximize the characteristics of this coffee. Hand-pouring Blue Mountain coffee has several requirements - water temperature, grind size, and other factors are crucial points that cannot be overlooked. Today, let's share how to brew Blue Mountain coffee!
Water temperature: 87°C | Grind size: BG-6W | Dripper: KONO | Technique:分段萃取 (Segmented extraction) | Ratio: 1:15
Brewing: Use 15g of coffee with 1 times the amount of water for blooming, so pour 30g of water and bloom for 30s. After time is up, perform the second pour with 125g of water, then stop pouring. Observe the water level drop, and when the coffee bed is about to be exposed, perform the third pour, stopping at 225g. Wait for the water level to drop until the coffee bed is about to be exposed, then remove the dripper. Total extraction time: 2:00
In short: Everything is just for sharing and spreading knowledge
