When it comes to Costa Rican coffee beans, their reputation is globally renowned. In recent years, as Costa Rica's specialty coffee beans have taken the world by storm, their high-quality taste and outstanding flavor have left many coffee enthusiasts with unforgettable impressions.
This natural Black Pearl is grown by the Chacon Solano family, which has been cultivating coffee at Las Lajas for over 80 years. They began organic farming 30 years ago and in 2000 became one of the officially certified organic farms in Costa Rica. The family not only strives to manage their farm in an environmentally and socially responsible manner but also works diligently to produce high-quality coffee! Las Lajas is located at the foothills of the Poás Volcano and is a major specialty coffee production area in the Sabanilla de Alajuela region of Costa Rica's Central Valley.
