Country: Ethiopia

Coffee Region: Wenago

Altitude: 1750m

Processing Method: Washed

Grade: G1

Flavor Description: Tea-like, Earl Grey tea, longan honey sweetness

The Adame Gorbota Cooperative belongs to the Wenago region of Ethiopia, located about two kilometers southwest of Yirgacheffe town. The Adame Gorbota Cooperative currently has 533 members. Small coffee farmers near the cooperative harvest coffee cherries from their small plots and deliver them to the cooperative for unified processing. The traditional YCFCU processing is carried out at the processing plant, where coffee beans are fermented in water for 48 hours, then washed and dried on African raised beds. This unique processing method allows Ethiopian heirloom varieties to showcase intense flavors: Adame's delightful apricot sweetness and the juice-like quality presented by its delicate acidity.
