Brazil: The Coffee Continent

Brazil, a country that can be hailed as the "coffee continent," is the world's largest coffee producer and exporter, accounting for about 1/3 of all world production. It is particularly famous for Brazil Santos coffee exported from the port of Santos in São Paulo state. The green beans are large in size, showing a light green or pale yellow color.

Flavor Characteristics

Brazil Santos coffee features a mild flavor suitable for those new to coffee. It can be enjoyed without sugar, revealing a faint sweet aroma. The acidity and bitterness can be adjusted through roasting, and it's often used as a base for blending comprehensive coffees or for creating Mamba and Manmo coffees.

Coffee Bean Origin: Brazil

Named after its port (Santos), Brazil Santos coffee accounts for about 1/3 of the world's total coffee production, holding a pivotal position in the global overall trading market. The produced coffee quality is uniform, and it's generally considered an indispensable coffee bean for blending. Its taste is round and neutral with moderate acidity.

The coffee beans from Brazil's Santos producing region have delicate aroma and comfortable, mild flavor, suitable for those trying coffee for the first time. The acidity and bitterness are moderate, with a smooth and mellow entry.

Brazil Bourbon Santos

Brazil's Arabica coffee is called Bourbon because it appeared on Bourbon Island (now called Réunion Island) at that time. Santos coffee belongs to smaller and curved beans, originating from Yemen Mocha. Only using the top-grade coffee beans from the first two harvests, it's the highest-grade coffee bean in Brazil. We choose pure Bourbon beans - Code 18 from the Cerrado estate, which tastes mellow and smooth, slightly sweet, with a fragrant, sweet aftertaste. Brazil Santos coffee can be tasted alone or blended with other coffees, such as blending with Sumatra Mandheling to create charming Mamba coffee.
