The name "Mandheling" originates from the indigenous people of Sumatra who cultivate these coffee beans, who call themselves "Mandailing." It is prefixed with "Japan" because the Japanese were deeply captivated by its mellow flavor and introduced it to the world.

The term "Golden Grade" refers to the careful and persistent spirit of selecting each batch of beans through at least three rounds of manual sorting to remove defective beans, leaving only high-quality coffee beans that can be called "Golden Mandheling."

Lake Toba boasts captivating scenery and is the main distribution area of the Batak people. Composed of several sub-ethnic groups, the Batak people have adapted to the local natural environmental conditions and started growing coffee.

They use a unique processing method that gives the green coffee beans a saturated and beautiful color like sapphires. Today, the Batak people are one of the main producers of Arabica coffee in Indonesia.

Local small-scale coffee farmers value the quality of their coffee production, so they are very meticulous in selecting coffee fruits and during the processing process, giving Blue Diamond Mandheling a bright, smooth, and balanced taste.
