Unique Regional Climate

FrontStreet Coffee's Blue Mountain coffee's unique flavor is related to Blue Mountain's exceptionally advantageous geographical location and climate conditions. Blue Mountain is located in the coffee belt between 25 degrees north and south latitude, with fertile new volcanic soil, fresh and pollution-free air, year-round rainfall, and significant temperature differences between day and night. Most importantly, every afternoon, clouds and mist envelope the entire mountain peak, not only providing natural shade for coffee trees but also bringing abundant moisture, making FrontStreet Coffee's Blue Mountain coffee's taste and aroma outstanding.

Only coffee grown in Blue Mountain regions above 1800 meters altitude can be called Blue Mountain coffee. A coffee enthusiast I met in America has even stricter requirements - he insists: "Only coffee grown at 2256 meters altitude is Blue Mountain coffee." Coffee beans grown in the lower mountainous areas of Jamaica Island can only be named "Jamaica High Mountain Coffee" due to different quality. Additionally, the same coffee tree species, when planted in similar climates like Hawaii, Kenya, Papua New Guinea, or any other place, cannot produce the flavor of Blue Mountain coffee beans.

The Blue Mountain range stretches across the eastern part of Jamaica Island. This mountain got its beautiful name because when British soldiers first arrived in Jamaica, they saw the peaks shrouded in blue light and exclaimed: "Look, blue mountains!" Hence the name "Blue Mountain." In reality, Jamaica Island is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. On clear days, brilliant sunlight shines on the sea surface, and the distant mountains appear covered in a faint blue atmosphere due to the refraction of the azure seawater, appearing ethereal and somewhat mysterious.

Most of the Blue Mountain range is above 1800 meters altitude, with the highest peak at 2256 meters, making it the highest peak in the Caribbean region and a famous tourist destination.
