In childhood, "street stalls" might have been the places where we filled our stomachs.

As we grew up, in pursuit of more "sophisticated" things, "street stalls" gradually became memories that exist only in our minds.

With the 2020 national policy promoting "street stall economy," originally quiet streets gained some of the lively atmosphere from our childhood memories.

In Fuzhou, the capital city of Fujian Province, there is a stall-style coffee shop with no tables and no chairs. Even on nights when the temperature approaches 40°C, people out for evening strolls still choose to stop by for a cup.

According to interviews with some netizens, the owner of this coffee stall is also a "foodie" who, like many young people, has a nine-to-five job working as a designer. Therefore, the owner only sets up the stall on weekends, but if the weather doesn't cooperate, the stall won't open even on weekends.

From the Dianping app, it's known that this coffee stall is a new addition, having started operations in June of this year.

This coffee stall is located in the Feifei Road area. On the Dianping platform, there are only a few photos, with no reviews or detailed information such as business hours yet available.

To make it convenient for curious visitors, the owner thoughtfully created an account on Xiaohongshu to post stall opening announcements, concerned that people might make a wasted trip.

From online photos, it's not difficult to see that the owner is a young man with a romantic spirit. Camping lights, a small square table, a gas stove—it's like camping in a corner of the city.

On the square table sits a Commandant C40 hand-cranked coffee grinder, a filter cup, several beakers, and a hand-drip kettle placed on the gas stove with a thermometer inserted—forming a roadside pour-over coffee stall.

One side of the square table features a menu, thoughtfully marked with basic information about the coffee beans.

From numerous online photos, it can be learned that most of the coffee beans from this shop come from 8bit Coffee.

Most surprisingly, the pricing is unbelievably low. In early June, their Blue Label Geisha cost only 20 yuan!

In recent years, the cheapest pour-over coffee available costs at least 30 yuan per cup. For a cup of Hacienda La Esmeralda Geisha, even the less expensive options cost over 70 yuan. However, due to economic pressures, the owner made price adjustments in mid-June. A cup of Hacienda La Esmeralda Blue Label Geisha now costs 25 yuan, with a 2 yuan discount for those who bring their own cups.

According to the owner, this pour-over coffee stall aims to create a pressure-free environment for both the maker and the drinkers.

Today's working people, who once didn't understand the joy of sitting under a tree drinking tea while playing chess like the elderly, now begin to appreciate that "simplicity is truth, and simplicity is blessing."

Some netizens have questioned whether people would drink coffee late at night. Today's urban life pace is fast during the day—busy from dawn until dark. The only short hours when everyone can truly be themselves are from sunset until bedtime.

If you can meet new friends face-to-face outside, why choose to stay home facing cold machines?

This pour-over coffee stall, named "觅豆狸" (Mi Dou Li), provides exactly such a place, offering everyone a moment of comfort in their tense lives and a venue for socializing. It's important to remember that drinking coffee isn't just about the coffee itself—coffee shops have been renowned social venues since ancient times.
