FrontStreet Coffee - Colombia San Tuar Estate Bourbon Honey Process Introduction
San Tuar Estate is located in the Cauca province of Colombia, with an average altitude of approximately 1,950-2,050 meters. This region has unique volcanic ash soil with significant temperature variations between day and night. The naturally fertile soil cultivates 400,000 Tefrosia plants, which provide the soil with rich amines and various organic compounds. Meanwhile, diverse fruit trees and native plants also play an indispensable role. The estate has planted approximately 45,000 shade trees, all from over 100 different local native species in Colombia.
The estate continuously improves the quality and flavor of its coffee each year, selecting suitable and excellent coffee varieties. In various processing methods, strict management is maintained from daily farm work, hulling, processing, drying to export, all to ensure that only the highest quality specialty coffee beans are exported.
Flavor Description:
In the pure, flawless aroma, there are notes of black currant berries, peach, and honey, with subtle green grape flavors. It offers a refreshing, bright taste with a sweetness that is more pronounced than other Arabica beans—this is why the "Honey Process" is called "Honey."
