FrontStreet Coffee - Panama Janson Geisha Natural Process Introduction
Today, we would like to introduce a coffee that has left us utterly impressed - the Janson Geisha. This coffee bean scored 91 points from Coffee Review. With the sweet aroma of honey peach, the acidity of pomelo, the sweetness of mango, and a honey-like lingering aftertaste, the charm of this cup of coffee is irresistible!
Janson Estate is located in the Volcan region west of Baru Volcano in Panama, surrounded by mountains and adjacent to Boquete (where Hacienda La Esmeralda is located). Due to relatively low rainfall, the coffee has intense dried fruit aromas and high sweetness. The average altitude is 1700 meters. The estate's total planting area is 1200 hectares. The farm's soil is rich in trace elements. The Janson family, who are the growers, have specifically built a coffee cherry processing plant to use the processed cherries as organic fertilizer for the estate's plantations. With approximately 2000 Geisha seedlings planted per hectare, they ensure the proper growth and quality of the final product. The Janson family cultivates this fertile land with a friendly, humble attitude and dedicated professionalism, bringing endless surprises to coffee enthusiasts! The Janson Geisha green beans are slender with pointed ends, have a jade-like warm texture, and emit the unique passionate flame characteristic of Panama.
