Janson Estate is located in the Volcan region west of Baru Volcano in Panama, surrounded by mountains and adjacent to Boquete (where Hacienda La Esmeralda is located). Due to relatively low rainfall, the coffee has intense dried fruit aromas and high sweetness. The average altitude is 1700 meters. The estate's total planting area is 1200 hectares. The farm's soil is rich in trace elements. The Janson family, who are the growers, have specifically built a coffee cherry processing plant to use the processed cherries as organic fertilizer for the estate's plantations. With approximately 2000 Geisha seedlings planted per hectare, they ensure the proper growth and quality of the final product.
