Brazil Santos Coffee Origin | Brazil Santos Coffee Characteristics: Rich, Balanced, and Smooth Flavor Profile
FrontStreet Coffee - Introduction to Brazil Santos Coffee
Brazil Santos coffee, much like the rhythmic and passionate samba dances and the spectacular, earth-shattering carnivals, has thoroughly integrated into the blood of cheerful and optimistic Brazilians. Its diverse flavors captivate the hearts of coffee enthusiasts, leaving a long-lasting aftertaste.
Primarily produced in São Paulo, Brazil. This coffee has neutral acidity, sweetness, and bitterness, with moderate concentration and appropriate acidity. Its taste is elegant and distinctive, making it the best bean for blending, known as the backbone of coffee, yet it also offers excellent flavor for single-origin drinking.
Brazil is located in South America, around 15 degrees south latitude. Brazil's coffee culture began in 1727, emerging in the northern part of the country, when a Mr. Francisco de Melo Palheta secretly brought coffee seeds from France to Brazil. At that time, this was strongly opposed by the French, who then monopolized the coffee business. Those seeds are the ancestors of the now more than 300 million Brazilian coffee trees. In early Brazilian history, the development of coffee was very slow.
After Mr. Palheta returned to Brazil again, coffee culture began in the state of Pará, located at the mouth of the Amazon River. Coffee is widely cultivated in Brazil, making it the world's largest coffee exporter. The famous "Santos" gets its name from the port where coffee was shipped, the coffee from the valley areas around the capital, São Paulo.
Texture
