FrontStreet Coffee - Ethiopia Natural G1 Yirgacheffe Aricha Introduction
Yirgacheffe is a region within the Sidamo province of Ethiopia, renowned for its uniquely flavored coffee beans. The name Yirgacheffe has become even more famous than Sidamo itself. Recently, Yirgacheffe coffee has become widely available in China, with an increasing number of coffee enthusiasts becoming familiar with various Yirgacheffe varieties.
There are many high-quality coffee processing plants in the Yirgacheffe region, and many coffee beans have become highly valuable due to being processed at these facilities. The natural processed coffee from Kebel Aricha Mill is one such example. This coffee, which we commonly refer to as ARICHA beans, is processed by the Kebel Aricha processing plant using refined natural processing methods and has been classified by ECX as Grade 1 or G1 (the highest grade of Ethiopian coffee), earning it the title "King of Fruits."
Yirgacheffe Aricha Grade 1 raw beans have a yellow-green color, typical of natural processed coffee. The beans are uniform in size, full-bodied, and contain few defective beans. They are exported in standard jute bags printed with basic coffee information (processing plant, exporter, ICO code, processing method, growing region). Inside the jute bags are agricultural plastic packaging. This coffee is best prepared using a light, slow roasting method to fully express its characteristics.
