As the birthplace of coffee, Africa is a land abundant with wild coffee beans. The African continent deservedly produces some of the world's finest coffees. African beans offer unique and fragrant aromas with wild flavors, mostly accompanied by a hint of red wine acidity. Ethiopia's "Mocha" is particularly outstanding (the Harrar and Djimmah regions produce high-quality Mocha beans through dry processing, with fruity or wine-like aromas that other coffees cannot match), and Yirgacheffe coffee beans are also excellent. Kenya's varieties are absolutely delicious, showcasing brighter and more lively acidity than Arabica beans from other regions. Kenya AA is a very well-known premium coffee bean.

Africa is widely recognized as the birthplace of coffee. Although coffee is produced throughout the African continent, thanks to the higher altitudes of East Africa and the common volcanic soil, Africa's premium coffees typically come from countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Ethiopia: Located in northeastern Africa, it is the famous birthplace of Arabica coffee beans, where people still maintain the tradition of harvesting wild coffee beans. Coffee plantations at altitudes exceeding 1,500 meters, after more than a thousand years of evolution and adaptation, have formed a unique coffee terroir. Ethiopian coffee grown in natural wild environments is known as "wilderness coffee," retaining the most primitive and natural flavors of coffee beans, with the most direct and complete expression of terroir, resulting in exceptionally outstanding coffee quality.

Among Ethiopia's nine major coffee-producing regions, Sidamo and Yirgacheffe are the most outstanding. Yirgacheffe was originally a sub-region of Sidamo but was separated due to its distinctive flavor profile. Its rich and complex fruity aromas made it an overnight international sensation, sought after by connoisseurs and commanding high prices. Sidamo, Harrar, and Yirgacheffe are Ethiopia's three most famous producing regions, with Yirgacheffe being arguably one of the finest coffee-producing regions in the world.

Yirgacheffe's washed beans have extremely rich aromas, filled with citrus and floral notes, and offer delicate and elegant flavors. The natural-processed beans feature bold fruity aromas with unique and delicious taste profiles.
