Which Coffee Variety Has Large Beans? Liberica Coffee: One of the Three Major Coffee Varieties

FrontStreet Coffee - Liberica Variety Introduction
Large fruit coffee, also known as Liberian coffee or Liberica coffee, is a variety that is resistant to pests and suitable for high temperature and humid climates. Its berries and seeds are nearly twice as large as those of small fruit coffee, with rich aroma but light taste. Generally, Nordic people prefer this type of coffee. It is mainly cultivated in Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, and Madagascar in Africa.
Medium fruit coffee berries are larger than small fruit coffee but smaller than large fruit coffee. It has strong disease resistance and is suitable for growing in tropical climates below 700 meters altitude. It has a high caffeine concentration, approximately 2%-4%, but has a bitter burnt rubber taste when consumed. It is mainly cultivated in tropical countries such as Indonesia, India, Uganda, and Vietnam, with most of it used for instant coffee.
Small fruit coffee, also known as Arabica coffee, is a species of the Coffea genus in the Rubiaceae family and is the most traditional coffee variety. It originated in East Africa. Before the 15th century AD, coffee was long monopolized by the Arab world, therefore it was called "Arabian coffee" by Europeans.
White coffee usually refers to a type of coffee popular in Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia. White coffee is actually the wisdom of the Chinese people, developed by Chinese immigrants who settled in Malaysia. By mixing selected high-quality Arabica, Robusta, and Liberica coffee beans and precisely mastering the optimal temperature and time, white coffee has gradually been made into the most suitable coffee taste for Chinese people. Therefore, Malaysia is the only place that produces authentic white coffee!
The coffee beans used to make white coffee are usually of higher quality. Old Town White Coffee uses three top-grade coffee beans - Arabica, Robusta, and Liberica - to mix into a delicious and unique white coffee.
