As terms like Arabica, Geisha, Typica, Bourbon, Catimor... increasingly appear in the视野 of coffee enthusiasts, it indicates that beyond flavor descriptions, origin information, and processing methods, coffee varieties are becoming one of the hot topics in the specialty coffee industry.
Some people prefer prominent floral aromas, so they can choose single rare varieties such as: Bourbon, Geisha, Typica, Rome Sudan.
Some people prefer prominent acidity, they can choose Huila or Narino.
Some people prefer stronger flavors, we recommend choosing high-body Indonesian Mandheling, Colombian Tolima, or Indonesian Java.
Rume Sudan, also known as RUME SUDAN or SUDAN RUME, is a wild, ancient coffee variety! In the coffee lineage, Rume Sudan's history is even more ancient than that of Typica and Bourbon coffee.
A wild Sudan Arabica variety discovered in the Sumaboma Highlands of Rumi Village in southeastern Sudan. Tall trees with moderate branch spacing and branch bud spacing, strong disease resistance, especially to coffee berry disease. Medium yield, very long beans.
The Rume Sudan variety was discovered in 1940 in the Rume Valley of the Boma Plateau in southeastern South Sudan, near the Ethiopian border. Known by its code RS-510 in the coffee world, it is essentially a wild coffee variety native to the African tropical forests of the Marsabit Mountains, characterized by its bronze-colored leaves.
