FrontStreet Coffee - Hawaii Arianna Estate Kona Introduction

The estate owner Sharon Dolezal Wood named the estate "Arianna ESTATE" after her daughter Arianna. To show deep respect for their Hawaiian ancestors, they wanted the name to include Hawaiian meaning, and "Ono" means "delicious" in Hawaiian, signifying perfection!

Hawaii Kona Arianna ESTATE covers 40 acres, situated on the lush slopes of Hualalai Volcano in the Kona coffee belt. The estate grows three varieties of 100% Kona coffee. Warm tropical showers and gentle sea breezes on the Hawaiian Islands provide the ideal growing environment for one of the world's most distinctive coffees - Kona coffee.

During the red cherry harvest season, the estate uses 100% hand-picking throughout the process to ensure only fully mature red cherries are harvested. Through careful washing, drying, and other processing procedures, they present perfect results to every coffee tasting customer.

Since 1970, the state of Hawaii has held the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival every November, inviting various estates to participate in this annual event. Q Graders from around the world also serve as important judges in the competition. Arianna Estate has won the honor of first place in the Hawaii statewide Kona competition in 2007 and 2011.

Arianna ESTATE proudly states: "We strive to do every step well, which truly reflects our philosophy - to ensure that Kona coffee from the farm to your cup is the best for you."

Sharon Dolezal Wood has been practicing the concept of sustainable management, caring for the land and trees in the best way possible. She has cooperated with the University of Hawaii's Cooperative Extension Service to hold seminars dedicated to green practices. Over the past few years, she has implemented restoration plans for native Hawaiian plants and trees, established bird corridors at high altitudes for bird habitats, creating wonderful woods where local birds can reside, hoping that Arianna Farm can one day become an important link in the food chain.
