American coffee is the most balanced among the three major coffee continents, with various flavors developing in harmony, creating distinct characteristics without competing with each other. Because American coffee beans are typically processed using the washed method with careful attention, the coffee beans are noticeably larger and more uniform in size than African beans, with fewer foreign objects mixed among the raw beans. Generally, Central American coffee has mild acidity and bright tones, with more noticeable sweetness; South American coffee offers mild tones and balanced口感. All coffee grown in the Americas is primarily of the Arabica variety.

Brazil

Brazil is the world's largest coffee-producing country. With monotonous topography, dry climate, low altitude, and poor soil, it's not naturally ideal for coffee cultivation. It relies on soil improvement, variety enhancement, and high-tech irrigation to compensate for these natural disadvantages, earning its reputation as the largest coffee-producing nation. Brazil's unique soft bean flavor features low acidity, strong nutty notes, chocolate sweetness with good body, though with slight woody and earthy notes, and less prominent floral and citrus aromas. Simply put, Brazilian coffee is relatively lighter and lacks the wild, bold acidity and citrus aromas found in African beans.

Brazil's famous coffee-producing regions include Cerrado in the central-west of Minas province, Sul de Minas, and Mogiana at the junction of northeastern São Paulo province and Sul de Minas. Brazilian coffee has relatively thin flavor. Ordinary Brazilian coffee not only has poor raw bean appearance with uneven particle sizes, but also mediocre taste without distinctive characteristics. However, high-quality Brazilian coffee beans, such as old Bourbon varieties, have a distinct stone fruit aroma, sweet taste with low acidity, and bittersweet chocolate notes.

Colombia

Colombian premium coffee contains a unique aroma that fills the entire mouth after consumption, with the aroma then exhaled through the nose, creating a very full sensory experience. The fragrance is rich and thick, with bright, high-quality acidity, high balance, and sometimes nutty notes, leaving a memorable aftertaste. Whether in appearance or quality, Colombian premium coffee is quite excellent—like a woman's subtle charm, captivating and perfectly balanced, leaving a lasting impression.

Costa Rica

Costa Rican coffee beans belong to the large-seed type, with those produced along the Pacific coast being particularly premium. Costa Rican coffee is hailed by many food connoisseurs as "complete coffee" because its overall varieties are very balanced, with a very clean and tight texture. The delicate acidity carries green apple fragrance, with a tight body that isn't thin, leaving a sweet coffee taste in the throat for a long time after drinking.

Guatemala

Guatemalan coffee presents a mild and mellow overall texture, with elegant aroma and a special, pleasant acidity similar to fruit acids. Guatemala features high-altitude volcanic terrain, which is precisely the ideal environment for coffee cultivation. Although located in the tropics, the higher altitude creates a milder, subtropical climate. We won't list all producing regions here.

Knowledge Point

The world's coffee-producing regions are mainly distributed in the areas north and south of the equator, also known as the "Coffee Belt."
