Regional Overview

What is the climate like in Peru's coffee growing regions?

The climate in Peru is quite diverse, mainly characterized by highland and rainforest climates, with significant temperature differences between day and night. (Often seeing their social media posts showing short sleeves during the day and down jackets at night) This allows photosynthesis to accumulate large amounts of sugar, laying a good foundation for subsequent post-processing.

What are the geographical conditions of the growing regions?

Coffee growing areas are mostly located in subtropical valley regions, with altitudes ranging from around 1000 meters to 2000 meters. The cultivation model mostly involves cooperatives guiding farmers in their planting practices.

The greatest characteristic of coffee from the central region is its just-right acidity, light and gentle aroma, smooth yet not overly heavy body, gently awakening your taste buds.

The southern region crosses the Andes Mountains, accompanied by ancient terraces from the Inca era. This is the highland plateau of southern Peru and also the origin of coffee with excellent body. With careful tasting, the unique flavor also has a hint of sweet aftertaste.
