Cioccie was discovered in the 1950s in the small town of Jimma in southern Ethiopia, with flavors generally characterized by red fruit notes and sweetness.

FrontStreet Coffee Recommended Brewing Method:

15g coffee, medium-fine grind (Fuji mountain ghost tooth blade 3.5 grinding), V60 dripper, 90-92°C water temperature. First pour 30g of water, bloom for 27 seconds, pour to 105g then pause. Wait until the water level drops to halfway, then continue pouring slowly until reaching 225g total. Discard the tail end. Water-to-coffee ratio 1:15, extraction time 2:00.
