In recent years, Vietnam has also become an emerging tourist destination. With just a short holiday arranged, you can fly to Vietnam to enjoy a bowl of refreshing seafood pho and drink a cup of Vietnamese coffee.
The harmonious blend of rich black coffee and sweet condensed milk always creates an addictive flavor that captivates you from the first sip.
Vietnam, a country not particularly known for coffee, but in reality, coffee is not only an important economic crop for Vietnam but also an indispensable beverage in the daily lives of ordinary people! When mentioning Vietnamese coffee beans, what's the first thing that comes to your mind?
Yes! The rich-bodied Robusta beans and condensed milk, perfectly proportioned to create a mysterious yet harmonious combination that doesn't conflict.
The editor specially researched Vietnamese coffee online to share with everyone~
Because traditional Vietnamese coffee tastes quite bitter, Vietnamese people invented a way of drinking it by adding condensed milk! (Really, many people don't dare to drink black coffee~ this is a solution XD)
For making Vietnamese coffee, it's recommended that the coffee beans be roasted to medium or dark roast to achieve an authentic taste. Vietnamese people have very strong coffee preferences, so they generally don't get used to lattes or cappuccinos~ (feeling that the taste is relatively too light...)
ADDONS Recipes: Vietnamese Coffee
Today's required materials:
Lulu's hand premium coffee convenient pour-over filter cup
INCOSDA Cafe specialty medium-dark roast premium coffee beans
Handground portable precision manual coffee grinder
LINKIFE Glass Series minimalist line glass water cup/milk cup (320ml) - two pieces
Appropriate amount of condensed milk
One spoon
Appropriate amount of ice cubes (Vietnam has high temperatures, so Vietnamese coffee is mostly served iced)
Step One
Add condensed milk. First, pour 3-4 small teaspoons of condensed milk into the glass. (To avoid it being too sweet, don't add too much. Start with a little condensed milk as the base, and if you feel it's not enough later, you can add more~)
Step Two
Place the Lulu's hand premium coffee convenient pour-over filter cup on top of the glass, then add about 3 small teaspoons of coffee powder (it's recommended to use coarser ground coffee, similar to French press grind). Gently shake the filter body to distribute the coffee powder evenly.
Step Three
Pour in two stages. The first time, use a small amount of 96℃~100℃ hot water (to bloom), wait about 30 seconds for the coffee powder to fully absorb water and expand. At this point, the coffee will start dripping.
The second time, continue pouring hot water until it's about 5/6 full, then slowly wait for the coffee to filter through.
Use a spoon to thoroughly mix the condensed milk and coffee.
Finally, pour into a glass filled with ice cubes, and it's complete!
Isn't it simple? In just a few minutes, you can enjoy delicious Vietnamese coffee ❤
China is so close to Vietnam that it's actually not difficult to experience. Why not take advantage of a short holiday to visit the local area in person~
