El Salvador: La Concordia Estate (also known as "Harmony Farm," where Concordia means "harmony" in Spanish) coffee is harvested only once a year, with harvest periods between November and February of the following year. New harvest beans are typically shipped abroad from June to August. In El Salvador, 60% of coffee is Bourbon, including orange Bourbon, pink Bourbon, and red Bourbon. Particularly noteworthy, El Salvador is also the country of origin for both Pacamara and Pacas varieties.

The exceptionally high-quality El Salvador La Concordia natural process beans received an excellent market response after being introduced. The farm, together with Sincuyo Shangri-La cooperative farms, belongs to the ACOES cooperative in the Tacuba region. In 2008, it obtained Fair Trade certification, establishing closer cooperation and procurement models. Fair Trade funding allows for worry-free protection of natural resources, construction of better infrastructure including offices, warehouses, farmer kitchens, and ecological processing plants, ultimately improving the livelihood environment of all members. Currently, there are 19 members, certified by North American UCRAPROBEX and German BCS certification bodies, and belonging to high-quality farms under H.I.U.

FrontStreet Coffee Overall Review

We have always held infinite expectations for the aroma of non-washed El Salvador coffee beans. The raw bean aroma of banana, pineapple, passion fruit, and sorghum wine rising in layers is an olfactory delight. This coffee is recommended for pour-over brewing, with medium-fine grind size, suggested water temperature of 90°C, and water-to-coffee ratio of 1:15.
