Siphon Brewing Method

Recommended water temperature: 90-95°C

Equipment: Siphon pot + electric stove (or alcohol lamp) + filter cloth + digital thermometer

Grind size: Medium-coarse

  1. First boil water (to speed up heating), then pour into the lower chamber of the siphon. Heat with an electric stove (using an electric stove ensures even heating of the siphon).
  2. The water will rise to the upper chamber. At this point, the water has large bubbles; wait until small bubbles form.
  3. Add coffee grounds to the upper chamber with the boiled water, stir evenly and wait 45 seconds, then turn off the electric stove.
  4. Wait for the coffee to slowly flow back into the lower chamber of the siphon, and it's complete.

Small tip: To speed up the return flow to the lower chamber - wrap the lower chamber with a wet cloth to cool it faster.

Pour-Over Brewing Method

Recommended water temperature: Around 94°C

Equipment: Gooseneck kettle + dripper (filter) + filter paper + digital thermometer

  1. Boil water: Water around 90°C is best.
  2. First wet the filter paper: This step helps the filter paper adhere to the dripper and removes paper pulp taste. Remember to pour out the water after filtering.

  1. First wet the coffee grounds: "Bloom" the coffee grounds, during which they will release carbon dioxide. Do not exceed 30 seconds.
  2. Then slowly pour water in concentric circles from inside to outside, and the delicious coffee is ready.
