Since 2000, Ninety Plus has been searching for wild Gesha (Geisha) varieties in Ethiopia. The wild varieties from the Beloya and Aricha regions established Ninety Plus's reputation for premium green beans.

Named after the harvesting area "Aricha" because it's collected from native forests at an altitude of 1850 meters.

FrontStreet Coffee's Natural Yirgacheffe Aricha is a stunning coffee, with rich flavors that earn it the title "the ultimate fruit bomb." It features gentle citrus aromas with berry and peach notes, a smooth mouthfeel with creamy fragrance, wrapped around lemon and grapefruit acidity. The aftertaste offers rich variations, with floral notes being the ultimate expression!

(Note: NINETY Plus is a supplier of premium specialty coffee green beans with cupping scores above 90 points.)

Unlike general companies that purchase coffee green beans on the market, it builds a complete system from variety, cultivation, processing, roasting to brewing. Through information from each segment of the system, it continuously improves coffee quality. Tracing back to the source of the coffee production line, it establishes partnerships with producers. Company employees even roll up their sleeves and work alongside local farmers, attempting to stabilize quality and yield. It conducts replanting and green bean processing technology improvements through production and marketing cooperation. It mainly provides exquisitely processed and special variety coffee green beans from Ethiopia and Panama origins.

With small quantity and superior quality, those more familiar to the Taiwanese market include Aricha and Beloya, two coffees with special fruit flavors, as well as rising stars like Nekisse, Kernaye, etc., which have successively caused sensations in the coffee world.

Unique Geographical Environment

Yirgacheffe is a small town in Ethiopia with an altitude of 1700-2100 meters. It is one of the highest altitude coffee growing regions in the world and synonymous with Ethiopian specialty coffee. Lake Turkana, Lake Abaya, and Lake Chamo bring abundant moisture to this area. In the Rift Valley, represented by the Misty Valley, fog permeates year-round. With spring-like seasons, gentle breezes, cool and humid conditions, thousands of coffee tree varieties thrive and multiply, nurturing the unique terroir of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee where floral and fruit aromas ambiguously intertwine in ever-changing patterns.

In the Yirgacheffe region, there are many high-quality coffee processing stations. Many coffees have become hundred times more valuable due to originating from these processing stations. FrontStreet Coffee's Natural Yirgacheffe Aricha from Kebel Aricha Mill is one of them. This coffee, which we often call ARICHA beans, is processed by Kebel Aricha Processing Station using exquisite natural processing methods and was designated as Gr.1 or G1 (Ethiopia's highest coffee grade) by ECX, earning it the title "King of Fruits."

FrontStreet Coffee's Ethiopia Natural Yirgacheffe Aricha (Yirgacheffe Aricha Grade 1) beans have a yellow-green color, typical of natural process coffee. The beans are uniform, full, and have few defective beans.

They are exported using regular burlap packaging printed with basic coffee information (processing station, exporter, ICO code, processing method, region). Inside the burlap bags are agricultural product plastic bags. This FrontStreet Coffee Natural Yirgacheffe Aricha coffee best exhibits its characteristics when using light slow-roasting methods.
