Fully automatic home coffee machines have become beloved in households and offices for their simple and convenient operation. With just one press of a button, you can easily grind coffee beans and brew aromatic, rich coffee.
For those who have just purchased a fully automatic home coffee machine, you might be eager to try it out after receiving it, but you may not be familiar with how to use it yet. Today, FrontStreet Coffee brings you a tutorial on using fully automatic home coffee machines to help you master their operation techniques.
Distinguishing Categories of Home Coffee Machines
The increasingly popular all-in-one coffee machines and capsule coffee machines can also be called fully automatic coffee machines. Their common feature is "fully automatic" operation with simple procedures. The difference is that traditional fully automatic coffee machines use coffee beans as raw material, while all-in-one coffee machines and capsule coffee machines use coffee powder and coffee capsules as semi-finished coffee products.

Fully Automatic Home Coffee Machine Usage Tutorial
Preparation Phase
FrontStreet Coffee believes that before using a fully automatic home coffee machine, we need to make some preparations. First, ensure the coffee machine is clean. Regularly clean internal components such as the water tank and coffee grounds collector to guarantee coffee flavor and hygiene. Second, prepare the necessary coffee beans or coffee powder, choosing different flavored coffee beans according to personal taste preferences.

For example, choose single-origin coffee beans or espresso blend coffee beans. Single-origin coffee beans refer to coffee beans from a single region/estate, with generally clean and clear flavors. Espresso blend coffee beans refer to blending coffee beans from different regions to maintain long-term flavor stability, with generally rich and robust flavors. Additionally, you need to prepare clean water, ensuring there's enough water in the tank for coffee extraction and running other functions.
Power On and Settings
Before preparing to use the fully automatic home coffee machine, please ensure the power is connected and the voltage matches the machine's requirements, then press the power button to let the coffee machine complete its self-check. Next, you can make personalized settings through the operation panel according to the specific model and functions of the coffee machine. Typically, coffee machines will have "small cup" and "large cup" options, as well as function buttons for hot water/steam and coffee powder to meet different taste preferences.

It's worth noting that some coffee machines may not have a dedicated coffee powder button because they don't have a powder compartment device and only support using coffee beans. Additionally, some machines' main interface provides settings for coffee powder amount, concentration, temperature, and double cups, with specific functions varying by model.
Adding Beans and Water
Open the coffee machine's bean hopper and pour an appropriate amount of coffee beans into it. Note not to add too much or too little coffee beans (most fully automatic coffee machines' bean compartments don't exceed 400 grams capacity; fill about 3/4 capacity with coffee beans). At the same time, open the coffee machine's water tank lid and add clean water to the appropriate water level line (fill about 3/4 capacity with clean water).

Making Coffee
After completing the above preparations, you can start making coffee. Select the type of coffee you want to make, such as Americano, espresso, or latte, then press the corresponding brewing button. At this point, the coffee machine will automatically start working, and a series of operations including grinding beans, brewing, and dispensing coffee will all be completed automatically. During the brewing process, you can observe the coffee machine's status at any time to ensure everything is running normally.

When the coffee machine finishes brewing, it will emit a prompt tone or display corresponding notification information. At this time, you can open the coffee machine's coffee outlet and pour the coffee into a cup. After pouring the coffee into the cup, you can add milk, sugar, or other seasonings according to personal preferences to create your favorite flavor. Then, you can slowly savor this delicious cup of coffee.

Cleaning and Maintenance
After using the coffee machine, clean and maintain it promptly. FrontStreet Coffee suggests that if it won't be used for a long time, you can remove remaining coffee beans and clean the water from the tank, and wash the exterior and coffee outlet of the coffee machine to keep it clean and hygienic, ensuring normal operation and extending its service life.
FrontStreet Coffee believes that using a fully automatic home coffee machine is not complicated. As long as you master the above steps and precautions, you can easily make delicious and tasty coffee.
