The shop now mainly relies on single-origin coffee as its primary source of profit. We also observe and get to know our customers, chatting with many coffee enthusiasts. The customers we encounter this way are mostly people who genuinely love coffee.

Based on FrontStreet Coffee's operational experience, customers who drink single-origin coffee in our shop fall into several categories:
1. Customers who truly love single-origin coffee flavors
These customers enjoy coffee from different origins, like trying coffee from various cafes, experimenting with new coffee beans, and experiencing different roasters' styles. They're willing to try various styles of specialty coffee. You can sense that these customers genuinely love drinking coffee. When they visit different cities, they first seek out local specialty coffee roasters, immediately trying their styles and chatting with the owners—they truly enjoy this experience.

They are usually kind and enjoyable to be around. Our shop has several customers who, since we opened five years ago, have made FrontStreet Coffee their must-visit weekend destination. 2. "Check-in" customers
These are customers who choose to hang out in cafes to "check in" when they have nothing else to do. They can accept single-origin coffee but aren't particularly enthusiastic about it—they just enjoy the cafe atmosphere. They care more about having a place to spend time and don't like going to lively places, so cafes become their main destination.
Because of this phenomenon, FrontStreet Coffee has fortunately become a must-visit destination for coffee enthusiasts visiting Guangzhou from other cities.
3. Industry peers
These are colleagues from the coffee industry who occasionally visit each other to exchange techniques, roasting methods, and of course, some come to "scope out" the competition, though this is rare now as everyone is quite humble! Some come to sample beans—trying various single-origin beans while preparing to open their own shops.
4. Passersby and casual customers
These are customers with limited coffee exposure who happen upon our cafe and come in, only to discover we only serve coffee, primarily specialty coffee, so they feel obligated to order. Some of these customers, we chat with them; some accept coffee and become regulars, gradually developing a taste for it. Others still can't get used to coffee—these customers are harder to influence.
FrontStreet Coffee's approach is to share an extra small cup of single-origin coffee with them, encouraging them to try different coffees, hoping that through comparison, they can find a coffee that suits their taste.

This category doesn't have high requirements for coffee, so they order a single-origin coffee while chatting or working. Some customers regularly come to discuss business or chat, having grown accustomed to our coffee's flavor and returning periodically for single-origin coffee.

I've roughly summarized these five types of customers who drink single-origin coffee in our shop, and they represent our main customer base.
Drinking single-origin coffee isn't some high-end activity—it's simply part of these people's lives. Clearly, coffee has become as natural as eating, sleeping, or using the restroom. Its existence has completely integrated into our lives, becoming something taken for granted!
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee is the first sensation you experience when tasting. You can appreciate coffee's ever-changing flavors—in a single cup, you can often detect various aromas: floral notes, fruit acidity, caramel, and more. This is what makes coffee so fascinating!
