Can Orange C Americano Be Made Hot?
As Guangzhou officially enters winter, FrontStreet Coffee has also prepared a hot version of the Orange C Americano for friends who dislike the cold. Its preparation is actually quite similar to another creative coffee—Quicksand Iced Americano—and uses the same ingredients as the iced version above.
First, prepare a milk pitcher and pour in 80g of ice cubes, 100g of orange juice, and 38g of espresso. Then heat the mixed fruit coffee as you would when steaming milk foam, until all the ice cubes have melted. Friends who prefer a warm taste can continue heating until the milk pitcher feels slightly hot to the touch, then stop the heating process.
Next, find a transparent glass and pour all the orange juice coffee into it, waiting quietly for the quicksand effect.
Compared to the iced version, this hot Orange C Americano has more prominent fruit acidity, a slightly thicker texture, and finishes with a hint of citrus peel flavor.
