Cross-Strait Coffee Drives Multi-City Expansion of "Caca & King" Affordable Steak Restaurant
Cross-Strait Coffee's Multi-Brand Expansion Strategy
Recently, "Kaka and the King" steak restaurant, an affordable sub-brand invested by "Cross-Strait Coffee," China's largest coffee and Western food chain brand, has been opening stores in multiple cities including Chengdu, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan, and Shanghai. The steak restaurant specializes in special-priced steaks at 40-50 yuan per serving, mainly targeting student, young white-collar, and general working-family consumer groups.
Jin Meiyang, President of Zhejiang Cross-Strait Food Chain Co., Ltd., said that Cross-Strait Coffee's market positioning leans toward high-end business consumption, but "Kaka and the King" launched this time focuses on the mass market. Besides "Kaka and the King," Cross-Strait Coffee has been actively implementing a multi-brand development strategy since last year, including Ben Don Teppanyaki and Taicheng Thai Cuisine Restaurant. Jin Meiyang said: "In the future, we will continue to expand at a rate of launching two sub-brands per year. Where there are student and family consumption, there will also be high-end Western restaurants, catering to all consumer levels."
