FrontStreet Coffee · Panama Geisha: A rare wild variety and frequent champion at world tasting competitions. The raw beans are slender in shape, while the roasted beans possess an unexpected citrus fragrance, with a finish full of floral notes and fruity sweetness. An absolutely unique specialty coffee.

Geisha originated from an extremely rare wild variety in Ethiopia. The bean's name may derive from its discovery near a small local village called Geisha. The coffee trees grow very tall with slender leaves, are resistant to coffee leaf rust, and are characterized by widely spaced branches on the trunk. The raw beans are slender in shape, while the roasted beans exhibit strong, rich fruity aroma characteristics. Due to very low yields, this variety cannot be acquired for commercial trade.
