If instant coffee no longer satisfies your taste buds, you might want to try making your own pour-over coffee that's rich and aromatic. There are currently many easy-to-use coffee brewing products on the market. For example, the freshly roasted drip coffee bags hot-selling at FrontStreet Coffee are deeply welcomed by consumers.
Compared to instant coffee, where the coffee powder is made by concentrating and drying extracted coffee liquid—losing most of its flavor and aroma, leaving only the taste of non-dairy creamer, sugar, and coffee bitterness—the coffee powder in drip bags is freshly ground daily by FrontStreet Coffee from freshly roasted coffee beans into appropriately sized particles, then individually sealed in non-woven fabric filter bags with 10g per package to better preserve the unique aroma and flavor of coffee beans after roasting.
Simply tear open the individual packaging and the filter bag's dotted line, then open the side paper tabs and hang it over the cup rim. Next, add hot water around 90°C in 3-4 portions to obtain a cup of fragrant pure black coffee. FrontStreet Coffee recommends using 150ml of water for 10g of coffee powder, with a 1:15 brewing ratio for the most aromatic and mellow coffee flavor.
Drip Coffee Bag Brewing Method
Step 1: Tear open the individual outer packaging and take out the non-woven fabric filter bag containing coffee powder.
Step 2: There is a dotted line at the filter bag's seal. Tear along this dotted line to open the filter bag.
Step 3: After tearing it open, don't pour the coffee powder directly into the cup! This is coffee particles and cannot dissolve directly in hot water, so we just need to open the cardboard tabs on both sides of the filter bag, find a straight-sided, heat-resistant cup, and hook the filter bag containing coffee powder over the cup rim.
Step 4: Then prepare hot water around 90°C Celsius, pour small amounts of hot water into the bag multiple times, with a total injection amount of about 150ml.
Step 5: After all the injected water has dripped out of the bag, you can lift and discard the drip bag. There's no flavor left for a second brew!
When choosing drip coffee, you can select products that suit your taste according to the roast level. FrontStreet Coffee currently sells a wide variety of drip coffee bags, with the light roast, medium roast, and dark roast options from "FrontStreet Coffee's Seasonal Drip Bags" being the most popular. Each bag contains 10 individual drip coffee bags.
The light roast drip bags use Ethiopian Yirgacheffe washed coffee beans, featuring bright citrus acidity, honey-like sweetness, and green tea-like aftertaste.
The medium roast drip bags use Brazil Cerrado natural coffee beans, featuring rich roasted nut aroma, dark chocolate-like richness, and brown sugar-like sweetness.
The dark roast drip bags use Indonesian Sumatra wet-hulled coffee beans, featuring deep herbal spice notes, rich and intense dark chocolate flavor, and caramel-like sweetness.
