As everyone knows, Luckin's expansion strategy relies heavily on广泛 coupon distribution, and today you can still find Luckin's "freebies" across multiple software platforms.

Recently, car owners have been complaining on Xiaohongshu, Weibo, and WeChat Moments about the BMW app crashing, all because they were trying to snatch Luckin coffee coupons.

Silver card members verified through the BMW app can receive one free Luckin coffee coupon per month (black and gold card members can receive two). To take advantage of this "exclusive benefit" available only to BMW members, everyone collectively rushed the app, causing it to lag and crash.

It's reported that BMW and Luckin's free coupon distribution happens during the last week of each month, also known as "BMW Member Week," specifically set for Thursday and Friday mornings at 10:00 AM. Due to limited quantities, it's first-come, first-served. Car owners set their alarms for 10 AM to ensure they could enter the app right on time.

Online, some car owners asked for tutorials, while others shared their strategies. Those who successfully snagged coupons thoughtfully compiled "nanny-level" guides for others to reference. But were they really sharing tutorials? No! This was a symbol of the prestigious status of BMW owners.

In fact, this BMW app benefit isn't new—it started back in the middle of last year. However, app users recently reported that Luckin coupons have been particularly difficult to snag over the past two months.

So just how many users were trying to access the app simultaneously to cause it to crash? In the eyes of us ordinary working people, BMWs aren't cheap, and if you can afford a BMW, do you really need to struggle so hard to snatch a coffee worth just over ten yuan?

One car owner posted the longest time spent at 1 hour and 13 minutes. For this free Luckin coffee, car owners truly went through great trouble. Members also shared their rationale for the coupon-snatching: "Spend when you should, save when you can," and "Determined to drink back the money spent on the BMW!"

According to feedback from car owners who failed to get coupons, some couldn't even access the activity homepage due to lag, while others found the app completely unresponsive. After several attempts, they still couldn't secure the coupons. After waiting for over half an hour, the app would freeze, and the "data connection error" screen left car owners in tears.

The wealthy, in their pursuit of premium freebies, willingly persevere even when faced with buggy software. It seems the BMW app's backend programmers really need to upgrade their systems, or they'll truly disappoint the car owners who wake up early to wait for free Luckin coupons.
