Today, I'd like to recommend a coffee bean that embodies classic Brazilian regional flavor—the Red Bourbon coffee beans from Brazil's Cerrado Mineiro region. This coffee bean undergoes medium roasting to highlight its sweetness, featuring distinct nut and chocolate flavors that are characteristic of Brazilian regional profiles.

Brewing Method and Tasting Notes

I used a KONO filter cup for brewing, with 15 grams of coffee powder, a 1:15 powder-to-water ratio, and a grind size using a #20 national sieve with 75% pass-through rate. The brewed coffee presents very distinct nut flavors upon entry, rich and mellow, followed by chocolate notes that unfold in the mouth. It has high sweetness with no acidity—highly recommended.
