El Salvador Drip Coffee El Salvador Santa Ana Chocolate Lover Bourbon Coffee Brewing Flavor Profile Report
Finca Santa Elena is located on the Santa Ana volcano in western El Salvador. Due to the presence of the volcano, the farm's soil contains very rich organic matter. The farm sits at an altitude of 1850 meters with rugged terrain, making it one of the highest altitude areas in the region. The coffee features notes of nuts, caramel, and vanilla, with multiple flavor layers coming together in harmony, making every sip impressive and immersive. Thanks to its excellent coffee quality, Salvadoran coffee is also favored by many coffee enthusiasts as drip coffee bags, convenient for carrying when traveling or working. FrontStreet Coffee can also prepare drip coffee bags - you can choose your favorite beans and order online. For convenience, you can visit our store to place an order, or when the baristas aren't busy, they might even prepare them for you immediately!
Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Region
FrontStreet Coffee would like to introduce the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain region, one of El Salvador's main and most famous coffee growing areas.
This region is located in the western part of the country and refers to coffee grown on or around the Apaneca mountain range and the Ilamatepec volcano (also known as Santa Ana volcano).
This is probably the country's most popular growing area as it coincides with famous tourist routes (such as Ruta de las Flores). Visitors have the opportunity to visit farms, tour and purchase/taste coffee. Additionally, tourists can experience other natural, cultural and culinary activities. The coffee from this region is widely popular for its chocolatey flavor and sweetness. Due to its proximity to Guatemala, some say that coffee from these areas shares certain characteristics with its neighboring country.
FrontStreet Coffee previously featured a semi-washed semi-honey processed Bourbon coffee bean from the Chocolate Lover's Estate in El Salvador's Santa Ana region. This coffee offers immediate chocolate flavor with caramel sweetness, a creamy texture, and berry notes in the aftertaste.
For those interested, you can compare with FrontStreet Coffee's cupping records.
