Honduras

Honduras is a coffee-producing country in South America with 280,000 hectares of coffee plantations. Currently, there are approximately 565 million coffee trees planted in the country, with over 95% being small farms, belonging to smallholder cultivation. More than 120,000 households participate in coffee production, but most coffee plantations are smaller than 3.5 hectares, with 70% of families having less than 2 hectares of land. Smallholder coffee cultivation accounts for over 60% of Honduras's coffee production. Central farms account for about 3%, while large farms account for approximately 2%.

Since 2007, under the leadership of the IHCAFE Coffee Institute, Honduras has begun to improve its coffee growing environment and raw bean processing equipment, enhancing the export efficiency of coffee at its ports. Although Honduran coffee remains relatively unknown in the international market, it has shown significant improvement. In terms of coffee production alone, from 2011-2012, Honduras-produced coffee gained considerable recognition in Central America, with an annual harvest of approximately three million bags of coffee.

Morod Manor

Morod Coffee Estate is located in the Lempira sub-region of Honduras. The main variety cultivated locally is Arabica, which is a relatively small plant that typically grows to only 3 feet high, making it very convenient for manual harvesting. In the region with acidic soil and a warm environment, the farm's coffee beans are uniform in size, and the extracted coffee has a smooth taste.

In short: Everything is for sharing and spreading knowledge.
