Brief Introduction to FrontStreet Coffee - Bolivian Coffee Characteristics
Bolivia - perhaps you're not very familiar with this country's coffee! Bolivia is a South American nation with the high altitudes of the Andes Mountains, diverse terrain, abundant rainfall, and a mild climate environment - an excellent place for growing coffee. However, Bolivia's coffee production is quite limited, and its industrial foundation is also weak.
Bolivia primarily cultivates the Typica variety, with multiple processing methods including washed, honey, and natural processing. However, the washed processing method is the primary approach. Bolivia's climate is cold, which prevents traditional natural processing, so many coffee farmers use mechanical drying methods instead of sun-drying.
Due to its high altitude and cold climate, Bolivia's coffee beans mature more slowly, allowing for greater sugar accumulation. Therefore, the coffee produced has rich sweetness. Additionally, it features soft citrus acidity and the sweet flavor of mature berries - truly impressive.
Bolivia also grows coffee at lower altitudes, with relatively chocolate-like sweetness, dried fruit flavors, and a balanced mouthfeel.
In short: Everything is for sharing and dissemination
