Nyeri

The Nyeri region is one of Kenya's renowned specialty coffee producing areas and also one of the classic coffee regions in Kenya. The region is located near Mount Kenya, thus possessing an exceptionally favorable environment that provides ideal conditions for coffee growth. The majority of Kenya's coffee cultivation comes from local small-scale farmers, accounting for approximately 65%, while large farms make up about 35%.

Perhaps among global coffee-producing countries, few place as much emphasis on high-quality coffee production as Kenya does, making Kenya a model example among coffee-producing nations worldwide. Coffee beans from the Nyeri region are primarily processed using the washed method. Kenya's grading system classifies coffee by bean size, supplemented by cupping scores to determine actual value.

Kenya's AA grade coffee beans represent the highest level, followed by: Grade A, Grade B, Grade C, PB grade (peaberry beans), as well as the lighter and smaller TT and T grade beans. Grade A and B beans are typically mixed together for export, officially referred to as AB grade. The Kenyan authorities (CBK) maintain extremely high standards for coffee quality, requiring consistent packaging. Combined with the excellent quality and superior texture of the coffee, specialty coffee enthusiasts never miss the opportunity to enjoy a cup of Kenyan coffee during their leisure time.

Flavor Profile: Rich and abundant dry aroma reminiscent of ripe fruits, with a sweet fragrance similar to sugarcane. The wet aroma easily brings to mind grapefruit, honey tangerine, and cream candies.

In short: Everything is for sharing and communication
