First, let's prepare all the coffee equipment: filter paper, dripper, coffee pot, narrow-spout kettle, coffee cup, etc.
For pour-over coffee, it's best to make only one to two cups at a time, as larger quantities are more difficult to control. The water temperature should be around 90°C. Use approximately 9-12 grams of coffee grounds for one cup, or about 15-20 grams for two servings, which can be adjusted according to personal taste.
First, place the filter paper in the dripper, add the coffee grounds, and tap them evenly to ensure they are well-distributed. This allows for proper pre-wetting and blooming of the coffee grounds. During the first water pour, slowly inject water into the center of the coffee grounds. When the fine bubbles begin to expand upward and the grounds are thoroughly moistened, you can stop pouring.
After the water level subsides, continue pouring water in a circular motion in the same direction within the coffee dripper until you reach the desired amount. Then remove the dripper and pour the coffee from the pot into the pre-warmed coffee cup. That's it - a cup of pour-over coffee is complete!
