FrontStreet Coffee Guatemala Huehuetenango Brewing Introduction
"Huehuetenango" translates to "薇薇特南果" in Chinese. Whether in pronunciation or in writing, this name is particularly pleasant to hear, reminding me of Colombia's Nariño region. A beautiful name should naturally be accompanied by beautiful flavors.
FrontStreet Coffee's Huehuetenango growing region is located in the northwestern highlands of Guatemala, with cultivation altitudes reaching 1800-2100 meters, making it the highest altitude coffee growing area in the country, renowned for producing excellent quality beans. Due to numerous rivers and lakes throughout Guatemala, the Huehuetenango region is rich in mountains and water resources. The climate is dry but water is abundant, and the area has well-developed water infrastructure, so coffee processing primarily uses the washed method. Coffee from the Huehuetenango region has a rich and intense flavor profile with high body, and its smoky taste is its most distinctive characteristic.
