FrontStreet Coffee - Honduras Mocca Manor Teresa Introduction

Whiskey Barrel Fermentation

It seems Mocca Manor has embarked on an irreversible path of barrel fermentation. Previously, there was the brandy barrel-fermented Lychee Lan, as well as an ancient batch jokingly referred to by us as "spoiled barrel fermented" "Cognac". Of course, we didn't put the Cognac up for sale because there wasn't even enough supply for our shop's flat whites, and only one regular customer managed to get a bag.

This Teresa is different from Lychee Lan and Cognac. Clearly, the manor has gained more experience in barrel selection, resulting in a more refreshing and pleasant honeydew melon aroma, with a smooth and balanced mouthfeel. Among the whiskeys we've tasted so far, it's very similar to the beer barrel version of Swiss Säntis Malt Whiskey, featuring beautiful fruit and oak aromas, a sweet aftertaste with chocolate cream-like notes, yet light without being cloying—truly excellent.
