FrontStreet Coffee - Introduction to Colombian Coffee
With the popularization of specialty coffee in China, more and more Chinese people have come to appreciate coffees from different countries and origins, with Colombian coffee being particularly favored!
Colombian coffee is one of the few single-origin coffees that can be directly sold under the country's name. In terms of overall quality, it has received accolades unattainable by other coffees. Compared to other producing countries, Colombia shows greater concern for developing coffee products and promoting production. This, combined with its superior geographical and climatic conditions, makes Colombian coffee high-quality, flavorful, and renowned worldwide.
Colombian coffee has strong regional characteristics. The country's coffee-producing regions are located in the Andes Mountains, where the climate is mild and the air is humid.
Colombia has three Cordillera mountain ranges running north-south, extending into the Andes, and coffee is grown along the highlands of these mountains.
The mountain terraces provide diverse climates, making it harvest season almost year-round, with different types of coffee maturing successively at different times. Most fortunately, unlike Brazil, Colombia doesn't have to worry about frost damage. These beautiful coffee beans can grow with elegant posture, like wealthy children adorned with jade and wearing collars, allowing every part of themselves to be boldly abundant while freely absorbing the essence of nature, growing leisurely and composedly in the Andes Mountains.
Roasted Colombian coffee beans release a sweet fragrance, characterized by quality attributes of sweetness within acidity and balanced bitterness. Colombian coffee exudes a subtle and elegant aroma, not as strong as Brazilian coffee, nor carrying the intense acidity of African coffee, but rather a sweet, light fragrance - understated and elegant.
