The Republic of Kenya is located in eastern Africa, with the equator crossing through its central region and the Great Rift Valley extending from north to south. Coffee is cultivated in high-potential areas at elevations between 1,400 and 2,200 meters, where temperatures range from 15 to 24 degrees Celsius. The coffee grows in deep, well-drained red volcanic soil.
Coffee planting typically occurs during the rainy seasons in April and October, with two harvests annually: the first from April to June, and the second from October to December.
