Today's highlight is the Kenya PB TOP Peaberry! Coffee enthusiasts can barely contain their excitement at the mention of "peaberry." Processed with refined washing and drying on African beds, and featuring Kenya's prized SL28 variety—plus it's a peaberry! Just writing about it makes us want to brew a cup immediately.

However, many friends may not understand what peaberry actually is. You could say peaberries are "nature's darlings." Each coffee fruit contains two coffee seeds (green coffee beans), growing side by side. Under normal circumstances, each green coffee bean has one flat side, allowing for even nutrient distribution, so both beans are similar in shape and size—these are called flat beans. But exceptions exist. When a coffee fruit is affected by certain factors (insufficient nutrition, pest damage, drought, etc.), and cannot develop into two uniform flat beans, one seed absorbs most of the nutrients, resulting in a round, plump bean. This is how peaberries grow, and "PB" represents the highest screen size grade among peaberries.

Many friends have discussed with us the concept of male and female peaberries. While we don't subscribe to this view, we won't elaborate here. Some people believe that peaberries absorb most of the essence of a coffee fruit, offering exceptionally wonderful flavors. Others think peaberries are merely a gimmick and not as extraordinary as claimed. But once you truly experience them, you'll realize that intoxicating berry acidity and fragrance can truly be captivating.
