FrontStreet Coffee - Bolivian Coffee

When it comes to coffee origins, the ones that leave the deepest first impression are typically Brazil or Guatemala. Many coffee enthusiasts enjoy beans from Ethiopia and Kenya for their distinctive fruity aromas. However, Bolivia remains a unique origin that even many seasoned coffee connoisseurs have yet to experience. Bolivia produces high-quality coffee with unique charm.

Unfortunately, as a landlocked country, Bolivia's reputation, production volume, and export capacity are quite limited. This has resulted in such excellent coffee only gaining global attention in recent years. While Bolivian coffee might not match the intense flavor profiles of Kenyan, Ethiopian, or Panamanian Geisha varieties, it is cultivated in unique high-altitude conditions with fertile soil. Its characteristics include excellent balance and sweetness, with flavor profiles distinctly different from most coffees. Chocolate notes present upon entry, followed by floral aromas, offering a completely new taste experience.

Coffee produced in Bolivia's high-altitude regions typically carries deep, rich sweetness with gentle citrus acidity and alternating notes of black fruits and berries. Meanwhile, coffee from relatively lower altitudes shows balanced mouthfeel, excellent chocolate sweetness, gentle acidity, and flavors of malt and dried fruit.
