Golden Mandheling, a young member of the Mandheling family, has long inhabited the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. He has a robust build and well-defined physique (large beans, high hardness), making him the pride of the Mandheling family.

Golden Mandheling bears the distinctive marks imprinted by generations of cultivators. During the Japanese occupation of Indonesia in World War II, a Japanese soldier drank exceptionally fragrant coffee at a café and asked the owner for the coffee's name. The owner misunderstood, thinking he was asking about his origin, and replied "Mandailing."

The ethnic name "Mandailing" gradually evolved into "Mandheling." Golden Mandheling is a wanderer who has experienced all aspects of life. He possesses a uniquely bitter flavor profile, but having seen through life's journey, he always transforms his own acidity into sweet aftertaste. "Bitterness gives way to sweetness" is his self-evaluation. Richness, aftertaste, intensity, and wildness are the portrayal of his life.

Golden Mandheling is processed with more refined techniques—coffee beans are hand-picked, processed using the semi-washed method, and undergo four rounds of manual bean sorting to remove defective beans. The processed green coffee beans are complete in form, uniform in size, with a strong flavor profile, exhibiting rich body and vibrant, lively dynamics. Neither astringent nor acidic, the body and bitterness are fully expressed.
