Stretching from Alaska in the north to Tierra del Fuego in the south, the Cordillera mountain range runs along the western part of the North and South American continents for 15,000 kilometers, making it the longest folded mountain system in the world. Its section in North America is the famous Rocky Mountains, where world-class attractions such as Canada's Banff National Park and America's Yellowstone National Park are located. Its section in Central and South America is called the Andes Mountains. Many coffee-producing countries in Central and South America are situated along this magnificent mountain range, including Colombia.

The Andes Mountains, extending through Colombia, divide into three massive north-south mountain ranges - the Eastern Cordillera (Eastern Mountain Range), Central Cordillera (Central Mountain Range), and Western Cordillera (Western Mountain Range), occupying about one-third of Colombia's land area, known as the western Andean region. The eastern alluvial plains outside the mountainous areas are the upper basins of the Amazon and Orinoco rivers, with exceptionally abundant water resources.

The Andes Mountains, the Pacific Ocean (west), the Caribbean Sea (northeast), the Amazon River, the equator (crossing southern Colombia)... Despite not having a particularly large land area, Colombia enjoys God's partial gifts, and coffee grows and thrives under these conditions, its quality can be imagined. A statistic from several years ago showed that out of 1,100 municipalities in Colombia, 564 grow coffee, each with vastly different natural geographical conditions.

Colombia's special growing environment allows coffee beans to have growing and harvesting seasons throughout the year. "Heavy beans, rich in nutrients, with strong aroma" is a consistent evaluation of Colombian coffee beans. Colombian coffee possesses excellent flavor and aroma, with a soft, smooth taste and extremely good balance.

Colombian coffee beans have Supremo (SUPERMO) as their highest grade. This grade of imported coffee beans features full-bodied particles, rich and thick aroma, bright high-quality acidity, excellent balance, with acid, bitter, and sweet flavors combined perfectly, having a nutty taste that leaves an endless aftertaste.

Knowledge Point: Coffee quality can vary according to factors such as altitude, latitude, and soil chemical composition. Coffee cultivation outside the correct range of factors will significantly change the final quality of the coffee.
