Colombian coffee is divided into more than 200 grades, which means that coffee has strong regional characteristics. The country's coffee production areas are located in the Andes Mountains, where the climate is mild and the air is humid. Colombia has three Cordillera mountain ranges running north to south, extending right into the Andes. Coffee is planted along the highlands of these mountain ranges. The mountain steps provide diverse climates, making it a harvesting season year-round, with different types of coffee maturing at different times. Fortunately, unlike Brazil, Colombia does not have to worry about frost damage.

Colombia has approximately 700 million documented coffee trees, of which 66% are cultivated in modern plantations, while the rest are grown in traditional small farms.

Colombian coffee - originating from Colombia, releases a sweet fragrance after roasting and has excellent characteristics of sweetness within acidity and balanced bitterness. Due to its appropriate concentration, it is often used in premium coffee blends.

Colombian coffee offers a clear bitter experience, where clarity and astringency are like life itself, yet bitterness is essential in life. The lingering fragrance at the root of the tongue becomes a complete reflection of the past. Bitterness is pain, clarity brings tranquility, and the aftertaste becomes a spiritual victory.

Colombian beans are graded with Supremo as the highest level, followed by Excelso; but only Supremo grade coffee with beans above size 18 (diameter 18/64 inches) can be classified as specialty coffee. Colombian coffee has balanced flavors and a smoother texture, like a gentleman among coffees, well-behaved and proper. Its production area is extensive, but the coffee from the central mountain region is the best, with rich texture. The most famous producing areas are Medellin, Armenia, and Manizales, commonly collectively referred to as "MAM."

Colombian Supremo has a rich and thick aroma, with bright high-quality acidity, high balance, and sometimes nutty flavors, leaving an endless aftertaste.
