Sidamo Natural Anasora Farm G1: Experience the Rich Fruity Aromas from the African Savannah
FrontStreet Coffee - Sidamo Natural AnaSora Farm G1 Introduction
Sidamo · AnaSora Farm
Anasora coffee comes from a single private farm in Guji, established in 2013. The farm is located in the Anasora village of the Guji zone in southeastern Oromia, with an elevation ranging from 1,900 to 2,350 meters. The superior geographical conditions, ideal growing environment, and slow natural drying on African raised beds combine to make this coffee exceptionally exceptional. The farm covers a total area of 250 hectares, with 150 hectares currently under production, and plans to expand by another 100 hectares in 2018.
There is a river called Turo on the farm where they established a washing station, so Anasora also produces washed batches. Most people near the farm are from the Oromo ethnic group and speak the Oromo language. Approximately 45% of people in Ethiopia speak Oromiffa. AnaSora Farm always helps nearby farmers, assisting them with coffee cultivation techniques. In the region, there is also a middle school called Yerba Buleye, and Anasora is working to establish a second middle school to help educate the children of farmers. AnaSora Farm also supports a nearby orphanage, providing higher-level educational opportunities. AnaSora Farm hopes to give back to the local community to help them achieve better lives.
