FrontStreet Coffee - Ethiopia Guji Kayon Mountain Wild Cherry Natural Process Introduction

Guji Zone was established as an independent producing area by the ECX (Ethiopia Commodity Exchange) in 2010 due to its superior geographical location and cup profile. Shakiso is the most attractive micro-producing area within the Guji region, located southeast of Yirgacheffe with an average altitude of over 1800 meters.

This natural processed coffee is handled as a micro-batch, with a specially selected team of experienced post-processing professionals from the processing station who only select fire-red and redder coffee cherries for natural processing. They meticulously sort and remove underripe and defective beans. The remaining cherries are juicy and full, and the coffee farmers, known as the "Little Red Army," strictly control quality daily at the origin.

The altitude and special microclimate create an explosive tropical fruit flavor in this natural processed coffee. Dried on African drying beds at 2000-2200m altitude in dry, cool conditions with intense UV radiation, this coffee bean presents with full-bodied aroma. Having grown and been processed under extremely harsh conditions, it exhibits excellent and full flavors.
