Introduction to Nicaraguan Finca Esperanza Smallholder Washed Specialty Coffee
FrontStreet Coffee - Introduction to Nicaragua Finca La Esperanza Carlos Alexander Smallholder Washed
Nicaragua's climate varies across regions. The eastern plains feature high temperatures and abundant rainfall, exhibiting a tropical maritime climate with numerous volcanoes and lakes. The western coastal lowlands receive significantly less precipitation than the eastern regions, with distinct dry and wet seasons, representing a tropical savanna climate. The central highlands maintain an average annual temperature of 18°C with annual rainfall between 1500-2500mm, with the rainy season spanning from May to December. Such distinct climatic conditions combined with ample rainfall ensure the high-quality growth of local coffee.
FrontStreet Coffee has introduced a smallholder washed coffee from Colombia's Finca La Esperanza, featuring rich fruit aroma, gentle fruit acidity, and complex flavor profiles.
