Honduras Berta Pina Bourbon Washed

Country: Honduras

Estate: Berta Pina

Region: Montecillos

Variety: Bourbon

Processing Method: Washed

Altitude: 1315-1550 meters

Flavor: Yellow sugar, red apricot, cream, medium body, relatively high sweetness.

Berta Pina Estate was established after Fabiola and Roger got married. The couple shared a passion for tropical coffee, and Roger purchased an estate named after his wife to cultivate high-quality coffee together. They hope to pass on their passion for coffee to their two daughters. They choose to harvest the coffee cherries from the sweet orange estate at the optimal ripeness, ensuring the cherries are picked when their sweetness is at its peak.

Although Honduran coffee may not have extremely distinctive characteristics, its overall flavor is quite rich and well-balanced, which is its greatest feature. It has weaker acidity with a heavier caramel sweetness, offers good quality at a competitive price, and is deeply loved by coffee enthusiasts.

Berta Pina is a typical Honduran "highland coffee" grown at an altitude of 1000-1500 meters. The coffee beans are relatively large in size, uniform in shape, and have a consistent, glossy color. Medium roasting brings out the sweetness of the beans to the fullest, giving them a rich and unique aroma.
